Reasons to Visit Brunei
Brunei is one of the most charming tourist countries in Asia. It is a small southeast Asian country located in the island of Brunei.
Brunei is among the least visited countries in the world. Few can even point to the Sultanate on a map, let alone consider taking a trip there. Those who have experienced the mass tourism in Thailand and Vietnam will appreciate the refreshing tranquility in Brunei. And the locals haven’t sold out to get a slice of the tourist pie.
The Sultanate of Brunei is a very small Southeast Asian country located in the island of Borneo. Brunei has some of the most magnificent mosques in Asia, and quite probably the world.
They are-the Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque, the James Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque and the Ash-Shaliheen Mosque in Bandar Seri Begawan. Maura beach is located in Maura, a town in the north-easternmost part of Brunei. The beach is about a mile long and consists of clear white sand. Located just a short walk from the heart of the city, Task Lama Recreational Park is a popular spot with locals and visitors alike in Brunei’s capital of Bandar Seri Begawan. The Royal Regalia Museum is located in the heart of Bandar Seri Begawan. It mainly houses the regalia of the Sultan and the royalty. The Empire Hotel & Country Club, Brunei, sitting on lush greenery, has to be one of the most beautiful and elaborate ones I’ve been to in my life. Apart from its amazing architecture, it has the biggest swimming pool ever beside the most peaceful beach you can think of.
